  • Dear Reedy Fork Elementary Families and Community:

    It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 24-25 school years!  I feel incredibly honored, humbled and blessed to serve as the principal of such a wonderful school!

    At Reedy Fork myself and the entire staff are committed to ensuring that our children, our students, are fully supported each and every day.  In the academic realm, our teachers ensure that the curriculum is rigorous, engaging and supports our children in understanding how what they are doing relates to the world around them. 

    In math we will be using  Eureka Math² which is a robust curriculum that support our students in learning many tools to understand and solve mathematical equations.  In the area of literacy, we will continue to use the Core Knowledge Curriculum (CKLA)  which exposes our students to variety of “knowledge”  (fairy tales, biographical information, historical facts).  Students will have homework Monday through Thursday and in addition to homework,  they should be read to, or reading at least 20-30 minutes. I thank you for your support with this!

    At Reedy, aka “The Fork” we believe in supporting the whole child.  In addition to supporting our children academically, we also support our students in the social-emotional realm; in addition to their classroom teacher, we have a  team consisting of our counselor, psychologist and school based social worker.

     We believe that partnering with our families and community, contributes to the success of our students.  We have a wonderful PTA that has provided immense support to our community over the years.  Please consider joining!  Throughout the year we will have several family nights that are fun and engaging for all;  I look forward to seeing our families at these events and throughout the year! 

    The 24-25 school years will be amazing and productive as we work together to support our students and our wonderful Reedy Fork Community!
