Hello everyone and welcome to Music at Parkview Village Elementary School! My name is Mr. Zach Baker and I am your new music teacher! I graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in K-12 Instrumental and General Music Education! I am a percussionist and I enjoy playing all the instruments in the percussion family as well as ukulele! Before I was at UNCG, I attended North Carolina A&T State University and performed in the famous Cold Steel drumline which is part of the Blue and Gold Marching Machine. Currently I teach the Blue Steel drumline at Grimsley High School in Greensboro NC. When I am not listening to or making music I like to run, play basketball, read non-fiction books, watch sports and hang with my cat Luna! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me!
