    SERVICE LEARNING RECOGNITIONS:

    • SERVICE LEARNING DIPLOMA 200+

     

    Early College Academy students must compete 150 Service-Learning hours in order to earn the ECA diploma and medallion.

    4 STEP PROCESS FOR SERVICE- LEARNING HOURS

    • Student submission of SL Approval Form
    • Student log hours on x2VOL
    • Verification by the adult overseeing the project
    • Final approval by the service-learning coach
    Hours must be submitted within the semester that they are completed.
     
    SL Approval Forms must be submitted within the semester that service is started with the organization and must be submitted PRIOR to beginning service. 
     

    PLEASE review the SL Handbook on the GCS website! Students are held responsible for knowing the policies and procedures for logging SL hours when they register for an account.
