GCS Nursing and Health Services works with our schools and the Guilford County Department of Health and Human Services-Public Health School Nurses. There are 42 School Health Nurses who provide a broad range of services and care to our students. Each school nurse averages service to 2-3 schools per year.

School Health Information

Although the grace period for submitting immunizations has passed, the North Carolina state law still requires students to have immunizations completed by the time they return to school. Students in grades Kindergarten, 7^th, and 12^th are required to have health assessments and/or immunizations completed in order to attend in-person learning and participate in activities on campus.
