My name is Fannie Spruill and I am the Media Specialist, at Washington Montessori Elementary School. I have been an educator for twenty nine years. I was a classroom teacher for sixteen years and a media specialist for thirteen years. As a media specialist, I get the opportunity to work with all of the students. So, I get a chance to see them grow, as readers. I think reading is an important skill to obtain. This is the reason I encourage students to become active readers and gain an appreciation for information.
