I love teaching at Florence Elementary and look forward to continually meeting new families and students!  I realize that teaching your child is a privilege and a tremendous responsibility.  I will do my best to ensure that each child has a motivating and enriched learning environment.  My moto is ‘work hard and be nice’!   I love teaching and I have a passion for the educational experience.

I have over twenty years of experience in education.  I have taught kindergarten, first, second and third grade.  In addition to classroom experience, I have had the pleasure of coaching teachers for three years as an instructional coach at a High Point elementary school.

I grew up in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York.  My family and I moved to North Carolina in 2010. We have one son, whom we absolutely adore, of course!  We also have two Siberian kitties.  They constantly make us laugh with their antics or cry with their cat fur!  Lol.
