About Us

Our vision at Murphey is that our students will love learning, will learn to lead, and then lead the future. We want to make sure our students achieve their academic goals and graduate from high school ready to succeed in college and career. We work hard to meet the individual needs of students in each curriculum area.  We also teach service, character, social skills, patriotism and leadership.   

Our mission reflects our vision.  It states that Murphey Traditional Academy will lead by example in order to motivate and educate our students to become productive, global citizens with respect for diversity.

Teacher Workdays: 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Summer Hours: Mon. - Thurs. 7:00AM - 5:00PM (Building is closed on Fridays in the summer.)
