    Morning Announcements – Monday, Dec.9, 2019

    *Students interested in applying to the GAP program are required to attend at least 1 open house session.  Pick up a copy of the open house schedule from Ms. Yancey in room 304 or check the Page website for more details.

    *Congratulations to the following wrestlers who placed at the Bobby Lloyd Wrestling Invitational @ Thomasville High School.  Omar Solliman finished in 3rd place.  Jed Darnell, Jacob Woodburn, and Brian Yoo all earned 1st place in their weight divisions.  Jacob Woodburn also earned Most Outstanding Wrestler of the entire event tournament.  Great work, Pirates!

    *Dimes for A Cure!  Please support this worthy cause for the American Cancer society and bring in your DIMES!!  Bottles ae located in the following locations: Main Office, Guidance, and some classrooms.

    *Please see Coach Hardin in the main gym, if you plan to try out for baseball this spring.

    *Ultimate Frisbee is still being played every Friday’s after school on the practice fields from 4-5.  See Mr. Pielow in room 717 if you have questions about Ultimate Frisbee.

    *Quiz bowl is getting excited to start practicing as a group.  We will meet today after school in room 504.  All is welcome to join, please come with your friends!  See Ms. Jarotski if you have any questions.

    If you are interested in wrestling this season, there is still time!  You do not need previous wrestling experience to tryout!  We welcome all levels of experience and skill sets.

    *There will be a Mu Alpha meeting today @ 4pm in the media center.

    *Attention Spanish National Honor Society Members:  Remember that we are collecting items for the gift drive in Ms. Leica’s room.  Please remember to pick up some of the items from our wish list as gifts for the families!  Also, a reminder that we would prefer if the gifts could be wrapped and addressed to whichever child (or mother) it was picked for from the list.  THANK YOU!!

    *Herff Jones will be on campus Saturday, December 14th to help seniors order their caps and gowns.  They will be in the cafeteria from 10 am – until noon.  Stop by and take care of all your senior supply needs before prices go up in January.
