Social Studies teacher starting his 27th year teaching and 18th year at NW! 

Loves all the stories from history!

 Welcome to 8th grade Social Studies! I look forward to sharing what I consider to be the most interesting subject in 8th grade - North Carolina and United States History!

I attended Wofford College for two years before transferring to and graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Political Science. I earned my teaching licensure from Greensboro College and my masters in middle grades education from Gardner-Webb University. Yeah...I've experienced a lot of college! 

My family includes my wife Kelley - the minister at Centenary United Methodist Church in Greensboro, and my daughter Meredith who is a social studies teacher next door at NW High. We have a puppy pug named Gunther. 

My interests include traveling to historic places, learning new ways to grill food, and college sports.
