Welcome to ELA!

Reading has always been something that I love!  I graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS in Elementary Education and have been teaching language arts ever since.  

I have three daughters and two dogs.  My oldest daughter is an elementary teacher, my middle daughter is an event planner, and the youngest is getting her degree in occupational therapy.  I also have two grandsons who are lots of fun!  My dogs, Sophie and Dory, are very lively!  Sophie is a massive Great Pyrenees and Dory is a really quirky Cattle Dog.  They're often partners in crime at our house.
