Welcome to 8th grade Language Arts for the 2022-2023 school year! This is my 6th year at Northwest Middle School and I am excited to start another school year as a Viking! I am a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, where I completed an undergraduate degree in English and a Masters in Education. I grew up in Forest, Virginia and currently live in Greensboro with my husband Jason, my eleven year old daughter, Haven, and my nine year old son, Jake. We also have kitty sisters named Sugar and Sprinkles. This will be my 15th year teaching middle school Language Arts in Guilford County. My family keeps me extremely busy! I enjoy reading, hiking, shopping, running, swimming, travelling and taking my kids on outings that they enjoy. I am hopeful for a more "normal" school year with each of you and excited to meet you soon!
