Good evening, Jefferson Families, this is your Proud Principal, Sue Villarrubia. I hope you had a wonderful and restful weekend. I want to send a special Jefferson thank you and kind thoughts to any family who lost a member of their family while they were serving our country. We appreciate their service.
We have nine, super busy days left of school. Our 3rd - 5th graders did an amazing job on their EOG on Friday. We are anxiously awaiting the results. As soon as we get the results, a letter will be sent home with your child to let you know if they passed or need to plan on attending remediation and retesting. Summer is around the corner. We only have 19 days of school left! Please listen carefully to the following announcements to help us make these 19 days amazing ones.
1. End of Grade testing begins on May 26th. It is very important that our 3rd - 5th graders are present every day, all day so we teachers can give them last minute tips and strategies to be successful during these assessments.
2. Students are excited about the warm weather and soon to be summer. Please remind your child that it is very important that they continue to follow all school and classroom rules and procedures so they can be a part of our end of year celebrations, awards and field day.
