Hey y'all! I am excited to be entering my 8th year at Northwest Guilford High School. In case you didn't know after graduating Mary Baldwin College (now University) I began connecting with high school students as college admission counselor. I found my passion for young adults and wanted to pour into teenagers on a more personal basis so pursued teaching! I love connecting with students and helping them reach their goals and learn how to be kind,  productive members of society has been a joy of mine!

 

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy cooking, playing card/board games, spending time with friends and family, and building a beautiful life with my husband DeMarques, daughter Alora, and fur baby Monet. I 

 

I am so excited to see what this school year brings! It's always a great day to be a Vikings!
