I am excited to be working with you and your Smartie this year for 2nd Grade.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself....

• I am a proud graduate from UNCG (undergraduate degree) and Gardner-Webb University (graduate degree).  I am also very proud that I am a National Board Certified Teacher.  This is my 25th year of teaching.  I have been a Northern Nighthawk since it opened in 2007.  I have two boys of my own, Trey is 20 years old and a student at UNCG and Trevor is 17 years old and a student at Northern High School.  I have a precious dog named Mollie, a demanding but loving cat named Oscar, and a laid back bunny named Peter. I love reading, scrapbooking, gardening, and of course, spending time with my kiddos.
