WELCOME TO JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
"Learning & Living the Jefferson Way with Purpose"
I am so proud to be the principal of Jefferson Elementary School. I am beginning my 24th year serving Guilford County Schools and my 8th year at Jefferson Elementary. I am so thankful to be a part of a wonderful group of staff, parents, community partners and students that make Jefferson a magical place to grow, learn and lead.
"Learning & Living the Jefferson Way with Purpose" ~ Our goal is to be strategic and purposeful with each choice we make daily. The foundation of our learning is based around our Jefferson Core Values, Habits and Procedures. We have high expectations for ourselves and our students. Our students are made for excellence and they deserve greatness.
Our team has a determined passion to support the learning and growth of each and every child in the Eagle's Nest. As we learn, teach and grow together, we always choose KINDNESS.
Jefferson Elementary has two Pre-K Classrooms, two Adaptive Curriculum Classrooms, one Regional Behavior Support Classroom, and 30 General Education Classrooms. Our 658 students speak 18 different languages, come from 60 different countries, and have a variety of social, emotional and academic gifts that make our Eagle’s Nest a magical place to learn.
If you have questions, please feel free to email me at villars@gcsnc.com or call 336-316-5870. We appreciate the ongoing feedback and support.
With Kindness,
Susan L. Villarrubia
