I would like to take this opportunity to welcome your child to the fourth grade!  This will be my twenty-second year of teaching and my thirteenth year at Southwest, with all 13 of those years teaching fourth grade!!  I received my BS in 2001 from Appalachian State University.  I previously taught second and third grades for a combination of 9 years at Rankin Elementary in Greensboro.   I am very excited to be a part of your child’s educational career.
