All About Mrs. Lyles4

I was born in England and I grew up in South Africa. I attended the Cape Town College of Education at the University of Cape Town where I earned my degree in Primary Education. I have always loved to travel, so after teaching in South Africa for 4 years, I embarked on the adventure of a lifetime and was recruited to teach here in Guilford County. I taught 4th grade at Irving Park Elementary for 3 years. During this time, I met Tim and we were married in 2004. I was blessed enough to be able to stay at home with our children, Andrew (14) and Ashleigh (12).  When they were old enough to attend Pre-School, I began teaching at Covenant Kids PreSchool where they attended. As they transitioned to Southwest Elementary, I too joined them and subbed as a long term sub for a few years until I got a full time position in 2017. This is my fifth year back in 4th Grade at SWE and I am very excited for the year ahead.
