Welcome to Fourth Grade! 

My name is Emily Mungo and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome your child to the fourth grade. I am looking forward to an exciting new year!

This is my ninth year teaching 4th grade here at Southwest. I grew up in Jamestown, North Carolina and attended Southwest for Middle School and High School. Go Cowboys! I attended college at East Carolina University where I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Child Studies. Go Pirates! My husband Daniel and I welcomed a baby boy, Bray, to our family last August. In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, family, my cat (Ashe) and dog (Skye). I love the Cowboy community and am so thrilled to be your child's teacher.
