Greetings Archer Families:

Welcome to the 22-23 school years! I look forward to working with you as we support our children during these most unusual of times. 

One of my favorite books growing up was Charlotte’s Web,  a story  laden with multiple themes such as friendship, coming of age and  perseverance . One of the themes that resonates with me is  that even in the toughest of times, if we work together, through challenges, positive outcomes CAN be achieved.

This is a most special year as the 22-23 school years will be the final year in a building that is in much need of repair.  Archer will be renovated into new Montessori magnet which will avail our children and our community to not only a new building, but the wonderful and dynamic teaching philosophy founded by Marie Montessori.  Information will be shared throughout the year regarding each phase leading to the renovation.

Parents, families and caregivers, I thank you for supporting our students  in the following ways:

• Ensure that your child/ren complete homework each evening
• In addition to regular homework, it is VERY important that your children are reading each evening. If they are not bringing books home, please contact their teacher
• Attend parent/teacher conferences virtually or in person
• Limit the amount of television that is watched and the playing of video games

Additionally, as we are still in the midst of a pandemic and our young children are not yet vaccinated, I need your support in ensuring that if your child is sick and experiencing symptoms of COVID that they remain at home.  

I look forward to working with each one of you and appreciate the support that you provide! This will be an outstanding year!
