yes, GCS is required to pay North Carolina sales tax.  Invoices should reflect the proper sales tax amounts.  Invoices from construction contractors should also show the amount of sales tax paid in performance of their work.

The Purchasing Directory section lists the most often purchased commodities and the staff person responsible for those commodities.  Questions regarding commodities may be directed to the responsible staff person by e-mail or phone.  Information about current and archived bids are posted under the Bid Solicitation page.
