Greetings Wildcat Country!
This is your proud Principal, Dr. Darrell Harris Jr. I have been in school administration since 2012, with my first stop at Eastern Guilford Middle School as an Assistant Principal. I then went on to lead the Middle College at GTCC-High Point and the Academy at Smith before serving here at Eastern Guilford High School. I have a doctoral degree in education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a master’s degree in health and physical education from North Carolina A&T State University, and a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Hampton University. I feel truly blessed to work alongside such a hardworking and dedicated group of educators as we serve the bright and wonderful students and supportive families of the EGHS community!!

Hello Wildcat Family!
I am excited about starting another great school year at Eastern Guilford High. I have worked as an educator with Guilford County School for 17 years, first as a middle school science and social studies teacher and now as a school administrator. Greensboro became my home in 1992 when I arrived in the city as a college student. I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Bennett College and a Master of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina A&T State University. After working as an educator for several years, I pursued and earned a Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I truly enjoy being a part of the EGHS and GCS teams.
Go Wildcats!

Mrs. Emily Stevenson
Hello Wildcats! I am Emily Stevenson, Assistant Principal. I believe all students can learn, should have access to quality education, and must have a connection to the school. As we begin this new school year, I am excited to get to know our students, staff, and community. The promise I am making to Wildcat Country is to do everything I can to ensure our students are safe, receive a quality education, and the growth and support of our staff to enhance our community. This school year will be the best yet; I encourage each of you to find something to be a part of bigger than yourself.
I am a graduate of Guilford County Schools. I have a Bachelor's in Chemistry from NC State University and a Masters's in School Leadership from Liberty University. Before arriving at Eastern, I taught High School Science, primarily Chemistry, for ten years and have been an Assistant Principal for five years. I am eager to watch Wildcat Country continues to grow. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you in our educational journey together.
