IMPORTANT: Registration (Remote Students)
Remote students need to register for 2021-2022 classes. Please go to the Counseling webpage or Canvas page to schedule your appointment for registration. Don't forget to fill out the form before your appointment.
New Routine to Begin Monday, April 19th
GCS students will learn in-person five days per week starting on Monday, April 19.
The change also affects...high school students who currently attend school on a hybrid schedule, with two days of in-person instruction and three days of remote instruction each week.
Secondary school students who are enrolled in a virtual school or who learn remotely through their home schools will remain on that plan through the end of the year. The district is not accepting new requests for in-person learning. Starting April 19, students will either attend virtually or in-person five days per week.
College and Career Readiness Assessment
High School Students: Guilford County School & Career and Technical Education is excited to provide you with an opportunity to help you make decisions about careers and life after high school. Your career assessment and interest finder assessment results will suggest career fields, including salaries and college options and opportunities you can explore now. Also, your results will suggest multiple CTE pathways available at your school. This student-driven activity is meant to show you the best options and opportunities in helping you achieving both secondary and post-secondary high school ambitions. Assessments will be continuous throughout the 2021 school year.
Interested students should speak with Mr. Haywood Stukes at SEHS. 336-674-4300 ext. 1208 or stukesh@gcsnc.com.

Bus Riders
If your student is a bus rider, please have them download the Here Comes the Bus app so that your student will get live updates of when their bus is 10 minutes away, pulling in to their stop, or if there was a bus number change.
