Rising 9th Grade - Virtual Parent Meeting (3/4/2024 @ 7.45pm)

  • The Kernodle counselors will hold a virtual information session on high school registration on Tuesday, 3/5/2024 at 7.45pm. The following information will be shared:

    • How to enter course requests in PowerSchool
    • Core course options (English, math, science, social studies) and Health/PE
    • How to complete registration form

  • Curriculum & Resource Fair = Thursday, 2/29/2024 @ 5pm

    You are invited to attend the Kernodle Curriculum Night & Resource Fair on Thursday, 2/29/2024. There will be an informational meeting for rising 5th grade families at 6pm. After the meeting, you will be able to speak with teachers to learn more about class curriculum. We look forward to seeing you soon!

HS Choice Schools Info Sessions for Parents (Monday, 1/22/2024)

  • Get ready – the choice schools applications will be open from 1/19/2024 – 2/23/2024! The Kernodle counselors will present information about the different high school options and information on the application process on Monday, 1/22/2024 (teacher workday). If you are interested in having your child apply to a high school option, please bring your questions and join us at one of the following sessions:


    Choice School info sessions for Kernodle parents (Monday, 1/22/2024)

    • Morning session (in-person at Kernodle) = 9am
    • Lunch session (in-person at Kernodle) = 12pm
    • Evening (VIRTUAL) = 7pm
    • Kernodle counselors provide information to families about different Choice Schools AND information on how to apply

    THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN TRADITIONAL HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION. All students will complete traditional high school registration (based on address) at a later date.
