Ms. McDonald

Hello and welcome to the Computer Lab!  

My name is Mrs. McDonald and I have been here at Northwood Elementary for 12 years! I am very happy to be working in the computer lab with ALL of our students grades K-5. We will be learning new things together as we explore several educational websites. We will learn to create word documents for research, create power points, and discover many other exciting ways to develop our educational experience here at Northwood with the use of technology!

Some of the popular website we use are: Coolmath, Funbrain, Kidztype, Mobymax, Starfall, and Sumdog. You may have heard your child talk about using these sites in the lab during their specials classes. The subjects we practice with these websites include: Math, ELA and Spelling.

Last year (2016) our school was able to purchase 24 Thinkpad Laptops for additional technology use in the classrooms. Students really enjoy using these new laptops and we are excited to have additional up-to-date technology here at Northwood!!
