About Us

  • Pre-Kindergarten
The Guilford County Schools Pre-K Program is designed to ensure children are prepared for success in Kindergarten by providing four year olds with child-centered, developmentally appropriate curriculum and experiences. Four year olds who have completed an application and been identified through a screening process will participate in a full day program which is free of charge for families. The program is funded through Title I federal funds and NC Pre-K state funds.

    Exceptional Children's Preschool Services
The Exceptional Children's Preschool Program provides special education and related services to children as outlined by the child's Individual Education Program (IEP). Children can be eligible for these services beginning at age 3. The services can be provided in a variety of settings depending on the child's special educational needs. The EC Preschool program has special education teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists that provide special education to children in homes, community preschools, GCS Pre-K, special classes, or in a special school.
