Students in the Maker Club showed a lot of persistence and determination to be accepted into the Maker Club!

Students in the Maker Club must be in grades 4 or 5. Interested students submitted an application, where they listed their scientific curiosities and attempted some creative problem solving. Finally, applicants needed to complete and return an after school permission slip with transportation confirmation. Once selected, Makers have jumped into a world of discovery!

Maker Club members follow their curiosities and create projects using a wide variety of art supplies, craft materials, computers, tablets, and various articles of technology. These items have been generously provided for us by the T4 grant from UNCG's School of Education and the SELF Design Studio.
