This is my 28th year of teaching at Northwest Middle School & I'm a native North Carolinian from Wilson. I graduated from North Carolina A & T State University with degrees in History, Political Science, & Social Science Education. I look forward to working with my students this school (2024-2025) year. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS and respond POSITIVELY to all ADULTS: FOLLOW TEACHER, GRADE LEVEL & SCHOOL GUIDELINES
FOLLOW ACCEPTABLE RESTROOM PROCEDURES/RULES
NO CELL PHONES OR EAR BUDS/AIRPODS IN THE CLASSROOM
Grading Policy:
Classwork & Homework/Reading, Study Guides, Reviews, & Daily Worksheets= 30% (Vocabulary, Note Taking, Section Discussion Questions, & etc... will be marked (& sometimes count as a grade)
Quizzes, Assessments = 30%
Chapter/Unit Tests(Assessments) Projects, Oral Presentations Models, Posters, Display Boards, Booklets, & Research Papers = 40 %
Supply Lists: REFRESH SUPPLIES AT THE END OF EACH QUARTER
