Welcome to 8th grade Language Arts for the 2023-2024 school year! This is my 7th year at Northwest Middle School and I am excited to start another school year as a Viking! I enjoy being both a NW teacher and parent. I am a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, where I completed an undergraduate degree in English and a Masters in Education. I grew up in Forest, Virginia and currently live in Greensboro with my husband Jason, my twelve year old daughter, Haven, and my ten year old son, Jake. We also have kitty sisters named Sugar and Sprinkles. This will be my 16th year teaching middle school Language Arts in Guilford County. My family keeps me extremely busy! I enjoy reading, hiking, shopping, running, swimming, travelling and taking my kids on outings that they enjoy.
