Welcome to 8th grade Language Arts for the 2024-2025 school year! This is my 8th year at Northwest Middle School and I am excited to start another school year as a Viking! I enjoy being both a NW teacher and parent. I am a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, where I completed an undergraduate degree in English and a Masters in Education. I grew up in Forest, Virginia and currently live in Greensboro with my husband Jason, my daughter, Haven, and my son, Jake. This year both  of my children will attend NW Middle School :)  We also have kitty sisters named Sugar and Sprinkles. This will be my 17th year teaching middle school Language Arts in Guilford County. My family keeps me extremely busy! I enjoy reading, hiking, shopping, running, swimming, traveling and taking my kids on outings that they enjoy.
