Mrs. Arnold's Class

Welcome!  My name is Shannon Arnold, I am a 20+ year veteran teacher.  I began my teaching career in Alamance-Burlington School System and then joined Guilford County School System in 2001.  I taught at Madison Elementary School before transferring to JES in 2013.  I am the 5th grade ELA teacher.  My goal is to create lifelong readers.

My husband and I live in Jamestown with our children, Benjamin and Eli.  They are both students at Jamestown.  We love living in the community where I teach and where our boys go to school.  Not only am I teacher, I run with the students on the Go Far team, am a Cub Scout Den Leader and do volunteer work.
