The following procedures are in place to establish salary levels for principals and assistant principals for 2022-2023. These salary schedules and procedures are effective July 1, 2022. The salary placement yielded from these procedures may be superseded by an administrator contract. Supplements are established by action of the Board of Education.
Assistant Principal Salary Schedule - Assistant Principals are paid on the state salary schedule for assistant principals according to the total number of years on their teaching license.
Assistant Principals are eligible for the Advanced or Doctorate Degree supplements. An assistant principal holding an advanced principal's license "AP" is paid an additional $126 monthly supplement. An assistant principal holding an advanced principal's license and an earned doctorate degree "DAP" is paid an additional $253 monthly supplement.
Local Supplements for Assistant Principals are determined by the student enrollment and percentage of students who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch at the assigned school.

Principals are paid a local base salary based on school type as well as an additional supplement based on school enrollment and the percentage of students who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch.
