It is my pleasure to be a part of the NGMS staff. The 2222-2023 school year begins my sixth year of teaching at NGMS and eleventh year as an educator. My previous schools include Northern Guilford Elementary and Joyner Elementary Schools in Greensboro, NC.

As a 1994 graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, I enjoy the opportunity to educate, encourage, and motivate each student I encounter. I believe that teaching provides students with a firm foundation and establishes a standard of learning that prepares them to learn continually.

This year will be a banner year for students as we explore the many possibilities in Computer Science. The Computer Science Discoveries track of courses offers students the opportunity to create authentic artifacts and engage with computer science as a medium for creativity, communication, problem-solving, and fun!
