Donate to GCS
Businesses, corporate and private foundations, and individual contributors give to Guilford County Schools to support enrichment, academic initiatives and other opportunities for our students and teachers to achieve their best.are fortunate to live in a community that believes in giving back. Our business and community partners have donated more than $1.6 million in cash and in-kind donations over the past three years.
Private contributions helped fund exceptional enrichment opportunities for students and allowed the district to fund initiatives geared toward personalizing learning opportunities for our students.
Does GCS Accept In-Kind Donations?
GCS does accept in-kind donations that align with district and school priorities. GCS may decline to accept in-kind donations that it determines do not fit these goals. In-kind donations are reviewed internally by staff to determine the school or district's capacity to receive and use a donation of equipment, technology, furniture, etc. The needs of schools and programs vary across the district.
School Board policy and procedure ECK, ECK-P provides additional guidance about donations.
If you are interested in contributing to a specific program or school, please contact that program or school directly to discuss the opportunity.
