Good evening Cone Cougars,
This was an interesting week between a workday and remote learning for weather! We have to always be prepared for changes. As always, we will operate with grace and mercy and do what we can to help all families get what it needed school-wise. Always reach out to your teacher to figure out a way forward.
School pictures are Monday! Please be sure to send students to school picture ready. The specific schedule for times was sent on Class Dojo if you need to check times or sign up for times if you are a Remote at Cone student.
This week we will be sending home interim reports for 3rd quarter and NWEA family reports on Tuesday. Please be on the look out for that information and more.
Scientific research keeps proving that masking works to contain droplets that spread COVID 19. Double masking keeps 90% of the droplets from spreading. PLEASE be sure your student is wearing their mask over their mouths and noses daily-- that it is clean and fresh-- and double mask as much as possible. Additionally, to stop having too many touch points, we cannot use our water fountains, but we have water coolers that are touchless. Please be sure your student has a clear, plastic water bottle they can refill daily.
We had random acts of kindness shown all over the building this week in addition to our continued highlighting of Black History and Love the Bus Month. We wrap them all up this week, but that will not stop our focus on cultural relevant learning and showing kindness and love to all.
Parents and guardians, continue doing a good job about keeping students home if they do not feel well-- we are also in cold and flu season. However, remember, if someone tests because they have symptoms of COVID-19, they cannot return until they have a negative test result.
We look forward to another great week of learning!
