Growing Leaders one teacher at a time...

This is a picture of year 2 of one of the MP TL teams.  For 5+ years, I served as one of McLeansville Elementary's Mission Possible Teacher Leaders.  It is a pleasure growing as a leader & serving to help others grow in their leadership role; with the focus on how to best help meet the needs of students. Here is a group memory picture with a former sister school, Brightwood Elementary during one of our annual summer trainings in Asheville, NC.

In the summer of 2015, Mission Possible awarded those of us with 5 consecutive years of service an award for Outstanding Service Dedication & Commitment to Teacher Leadership. Although the Federal Grant has ended, I take with me all that I learned as a leader and educator. It was truly an experience that has opened many doors in the educational field as well.  Being a part of the Mission Possible Family is something I will always treasure & carry with me on my journey in education.
