Born and raised in Laurinburg, NC, I am the youngest of 2 children. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I later returned to UNCG and obtained a Master's Degree in Special Education. I taught Pre-Kindergarten at Falkener for 5 years and then Kindergarten for 6 years. After teaching regular education for 11 years, I decided to make the switch to Special Education. I have been a Special Education teacher for 3 years. I love what I do! I've always had a passion for children and families. Falkener is an amazing place and I am excited to be a part of this family!
I am a proud member of the RED POD!!!!
My hobbies include: spending time with family and friends, shopping, and traveling.
