The folder is to be reviewed at home and returned daily.  Included in the folder are –

• Reading Log (Reading to be completed nightly and written down each night.)
• Reading Books (I will normally include a book that your student is working on in class. This is to be read and returned daily. If there is not one in folder, please select a book at home or use a reading app on a tablet or phone.)
• Homework (Most weeks we will have homework. This is to be returned Friday neat and complete. Typically, I will include any notes for that week on the top of the homework. )
• Daily Discipline Log (I will note the daily behavior of your student. I will also include any daily notes that I need to communicate to you.  Please feel free to communicate with me in this area as well.)

I appreciate you sending in the supplies for the school year.  We do have a weekly treasure box that the students visit at the end of the week for completed homework, reading log and behavior.  Please feel free to send in any treats for the box.  This can include small toys, candy, or anything else your child likes.  I look forward to a great year.
