Professional Learning Opportunities
The Office of Grants Acquisition offers technical assistance to GCS teachers, school and central office staff as they develop grant proposals. For the 2021-22 school year, professional learning will be provided virtually to make it easier to participate without leaving your school site or office.
Individual virtual consultation:
- You can schedule a 30-minute grant consultation appointment on the home page of the Grants Acquisition website, under Site Shortcuts.
Virtual DonorsChoose training:
- This short training is required once a year prior to posting any projects on the crowdfunding site. Training will be offered at 3:30 p.m. on the second Monday of the month and at 4:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month, beginning in September. Please register through Performance Matters.
School or department virtual training:
- Do you have a group at your school or in your department who would like to learn more about grant-writing? The Office of Grants Acquisition can bring the training to you! Please contact Lane Harvey Brown for further information and to schedule a training.
