Hello!  I am excited to have you as a student this school year. I have taught Family and Consumer Sciences courses at Ragsdale High since 2011.   Within my years of experience, I obtained an associated degree in Early Childhood Education, a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies at at UNCG, and my master's degree in K-12 Curriculum, Assessments, and Instruction from Walden University.  My love for child development began when I volunteered in my mom's classroom as a middle schooler during the summer months. Those unforgettable experiences fueled my journey to explore the world of early childhood education. 

I have a true passion for creating an authentic learning experience in my classroom.  In addition to being an educator, I am married with four children, and two dogs, Cody and Milo.  I am here to help you reach your maximum potential as my student.  Please let me know if you need anything!
