    If you have any questions about the Early College Academy, PLEASE reach out to our Early College Academy Facilitator via email after you check out all of the tabs on this Academy page.We have tried to answer as many questions as possible on the website but realize you might have more inquiries.

    Fall 2024 Magnet Application opens, October 9, 2024 and closes November 22, 2024. 

    Applicants will be notified of acceptances/wailistings on Friday, January 31, 2025.

    Criteria

    Due to the rigor and pace of the curriculum at the Early College Academies at Dudley High School, it is required that applicants meet the following criteria for consideration: 

    -Successfully completed or currently enrolled with a passing grade in Math 1 or equivalent course. 

    -Have a grade of an A or B in each subject area in the 7th grade.

    -Attain at least 70th percentile on the 7th grade Reading EOG or equivalent.

    -Attain at least 70th percentile on the 7th grade Math EOG, Math 1 EOC or equivalent. 

    Students are NOT considered for the Early College Academy after they have already started high school. Applications are for incoming freshmen ONLY.

    Register here to visit our school for one of three Early College Academy presentations and tours of our school. Presentations start promptly at 2 pm on October 22nd and 29th and 10 am on November 14th. If you are unable to make those start times we will host an Open House event on Thursday, November 21st at 6 pm.

    Students must pick a track during the application period. There is no option to change tracks after the application window has closed.

    NOTE:

    Hours earned while participating in special school-wide projects should be logged on x2VOL under that specific project name. 

    Example: "CROP Walk Donation Drive" and "National Honor Society Clothing Drive" have their own listing under the "opportunity" tab on x2VOL. 

    You do NOT need to submit a Service-Learning Approval Form for these because they are NOT personal projects.
