When a tragedy occurs, especially one that affects a school, it's natural to be concerned. In GCS, we make every effort to keep our students safe. We have security plans in place that are specific to each school, we review safety procedures with students and staff and we work closely with local law enforcement.
Many times when incidents happen, people close to those responsible knew something was wrong ahead of time. We want to encourage all of our students to tell an adult if they see something wrong. You can call or text Crimestoppers and report information anonymously if you wish. We have also provided tips on helping children cope with tragedy in the document below.
