Mrs. Jennifer Linden, Assistant Principal

I am excited to begin my third year at Southeast Middle School this year.  As an Assistant Principal, I promise to support faculty and staff and help create a safe environment where students can grow, learn and become prepared for their next steps. 

Before joining SEMS, I had been a classroom teacher for 18 years.  I began my teaching career in Florida, where I taught Applied Physics and served as the Academy Director of our Engineering Academy.  After moving to North Carolina with my family, I joined the Northwest Guilford High School staff where I taught Chemistry and Biology.  I know that my years in and out of the classroom have given me the tools I need to support the faculty here at Southeast Middle School. 

I am a graduate of Stetson University, where I earned both my Bachelor of Science degree and my Master of Business Administration.  Most recently, I have completed the Post Masters Certificate Program at UNCG in School Leadership, and am currently pursuing my Doctoral degree in Education.

Building relationships is the key to success, and this is especially true in education.  I look forward to working with our staff, parents and, of course, our students again this year.
