Northwest Elite Dance Ensemble is a scholastic club organization that participates in the NC Scholastic Dance Festival, competing against other high school dance programs across the state. Genres practiced and performed may include jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, dance team, and student-choreographed. While the team's only standing competition is the NC Scholastic Dance Festival, we have opportunities to perform at other local venues in addition to Northwest athletic or fine arts events. 

AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS

2024: 1st place dance team-NC Scholastic Dance Festival

2023: 4th place small contemporary-NC Scholastic Dance Festival; high regards at UNCG Day of Dance exhibition

2022: 3rd place small contemporary-NC Scholastic Dance Festival

2020: 1st place small jazz; 2nd place small contemporary-NC Scholastic Dance Festival 

2019: 4th place large jazz; 7th place large hip hop-NC Scholastic Dance Festival 

2018: 1st place small jazz-NC Scholastic Dance Festival (Superior rating)
