Ms. Rooks

Hello Cone Cougar Family,

My name is Tosha Rooks and I am the assistant principal of Cone Elementary School. I have been in education for over twenty years and have worked in two school systems. I have taught every grade level from kindergarten through eighth grade in some capacity. I've also worked as a curriculum facilitator and test coordinator.  I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. I am currently a doctoral student at High Point University. 

When I was a student, my favorite subject was reading. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my friends and family. I look forward to working with the students of Cone. I want all students to develop a love of reading this school year.
