Sophomore year Visual Art students take this Introduction to 3D Design course - our only dedicated 3D class. It is my goal during this course for students to learn and impliment the foundational characteristics of 3D design - primarily structural integrity and artistic design. Additionally, it is my hope to introduce them to a variety of materials and techniques including casting and mold making, handbuilt and wheel work with clay as well as assemblage and mixed media sculptures.
