Seniors in the Visual Art Department work during their first three years at Weaver Academy to develop their skills and knowledge in preperation for Advanced Placement Studio Art - a capstone course. This is our only year-long course and requires students to develop an inquiry of their own that directs the work they make during their senior year. This course requires students to go above and beyond the skills and knowledge they have learned by implimenting these things into work that is completely guided by their own interests and research. This course is heavy both in the making of art as well as the writing, documenting and critiquing of their work.
