Welcome to my page.  I am Yolonda Burgess and I am excited about teaching your child this school year.  I am teaching Honors Math 3, Honors and CP Math 4, as well as AP Statistics this school year.  My goal is to help my students grow in Math.  I am willing to help your child be successful.  I spent about 13 years in the field of engineering prior to teaching.  I earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.  I also have a MS degree in Information Technology.  I graduated from GCS-ACT (Guilford County Schools Alternative Certification Track) in July 2017 with my lateral entry training certificate.  I am a wife and a mother of 3 children.  I enjoy spending time with family and doing anything that involves numbers or technology.
