    RE:                  Goal I DIBELS Key Performance Indicators Update

     

     

    DIBELS is used as a Key Performance Indicator for Goal I of the approved Strategic Plan:

     

    Goal:   By 2022, the percentage of students who will read proficiently by the end of third grade will increase to 63 percent (currently 53.4 percent).

     

    KPI:     Percentage of students demonstrating reading readiness when entering Kindergarten as measured by DIBELS.

     

    KPI:     Percentage of students demonstrating reading proficiency by end of third grade (as measured by DIBELS).

     

    At the November 15th Board meeting, staff will provide a report on 2018-19 Kindergarten Beginning-of-Year (BOY) DIBELS data and 2017-18 Grade 3 End-of-Year (EOY) DIBELS data to provide an update for these two Key Performance Indicators.
