• National Volunteer Week: April 7-13, 2019

    Volunteers in Action

GCS volunteers play an important role in transforming lives and outcomes for our students. They ignite kindness across 649 square miles in many ways such as reading with students, assisting in front offices, leading campus cleanup and beautification projects and so much more. We value the work of our volunteers. Their service impacts school, home and community while contributing to the district's goals and priorities.

As a way to say thank you, we’ve partnered with theHigh Point Enterprise Logo  High Point Enterprise to celebrate our volunteers during National Volunteer Week. During this special week, GCS inspires individuals to become GCS volunteers and encourages acts of kindness in our schools.
