Print the correct form and turn in to your counselor August 22 from 12 pm - 3 pm in the cafeteria or August 23 from 9 am - 11 am or 12 pm - 2 pm in the cafeteria. You can also turn in the free block or change form the first 3 days of school by submitting the forms to the main office.
Students in grades 9-11 may begin submitting schedule change forms on Thursday, Sept. 1 to the main office. The deadline for submit a request is Wed. Sept. 7.
Senior student-athletes must take 3 classes in the fall and fill out the bottom portion of the form prior to emailing it to the counselor. This is your responsibility, as we do not know who is playing a sport. Graduating early would make you ineligible to play after 1st semester ends. Ex.- cheerleader of basketball player planning on graduating in Jan. because you would not be able to finish out the season. Students playing baseball, softball, lax, track/field, tennis, w. soccer or golf would be ineligible as well.

GCS Course Withdrawal Penalty:
Students attending a block-scheduled school may drop a course only during the first 10 days of the semester.
High Schools 9–12 Block Scheduling Promotion Requirements:
• Grades 9 to 10 – A minimum of 6 units cumulative must be earned.
• Grades 10 to 11 – A minimum of 13 units cumulative must be earned.
• Grades 11 to 12 – A minimum of 20 units cumulative must be earned.
• Graduation – A minimum of 28 units and successful completion of any other state standards must be earned,

All students will choose 8 classes in Power School as your 2022/23 course requests. The registration system opens March 4 and closes March 11. All electives are requests and not guaranteed courses. Student Instructions
As a reminder, when you select 8 courses for next year, you are selecting the courses that you would like to take. This is not your class schedule and we cannot guarantee that you will receive every course that you request. We do our very best to make that happen, but sometimes we are unable to do so.
Weaver Bus Schedule:
8:30 – students needing transportation to Weaver need to be dropped off no later than 8:30. The bus is by the trailer in the transportation lot and leaves SWHS at 8:35.
12:00- bus leaves Weaver to return students to SWHS
12:30 – bus leaves SWHS to take students to Weaver for afternoon classes. Bus is at the curve in the bus lot closets to school.
Home – students taking afternoon classes at Weaver get transportation directly home from Weaver
