Welcome to Ms. Witcher's Homepage.

I am excited about this upcoming semester. My name is Shalinda Witcher and I am a Health Science and Pharmacy Instructor. I have 17 years of experience in healthcare. I started as a Certified Nursing Assistant and further my education as a Certified Medical Assistant. I previously worked as Lead Medical Assistant in a Cardiologist office. I graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management. I am a Licensed Health Science Teacher and Certified Pharmacy Technician. My passion is healthcare! I enjoy teaching and preparing students for high skills, high wages, or in-demand careers.

HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a student organization that operates pursuant to federal and state laws which recognize the need for HOSA activities to be available component of career-technical education programs in health occupations or health science education.

HOSA membership is a part of an instructional program that prepares students for a health care career. Such programs can be found in:

• High Schools
• Technical Schools
• Community Colleges
• Universities
